Hi!
I have fitbit Charge 2, and it's not syncing to Strava. I use it to track my bike rides (I start the tracking from the device by navigating to Bike and long pressing I always make sure it shows connection to my phone). I never got a single exercise to sync. I revoked access to both apps and reconnected again, no luck. Strava works on it's own when I trigger it, fitbit works on it's own, but I want it to sync due to Stravas better reporting capabilities.
I would appreciate an answer soon because I wanted to surprise my employees with FitBits so that we can do a "Bike to work" challenge, but if it doesn't sync to Strava I'll go with a different tracker.
Thank you!

Hello @Tontario, was your bike ride recorded with GPS with the resulting map shown in the log? This is a requirement for the bike ride to sync to Strava. Auto detected bike rides, or manual logged rides will not transfer.
For help let's go to Strava.
A bonus is if a sync is forced before turning of the recording of the ride, you will find that your heart rate also will be sent to Strava .
I hope this helps explain it.

Thank you for your reply, but I think I provided that info in my original request. I don't use auto detect, I start the exercise on my tracker and make sure it shows connected to my phone. Yes, fit bit shows every ride that I make with full HR and GPS data. None of that is going to Strava. I spoke to strava tech support, and they said that FitBit data is pushed to them, which tells me that issue is on FitBit side.
What do you mean by "A bonus is if a sync is forced before turning of the recording of the ride"?

The help link i posted provides the same steps to take that Fitbit requests to try .
What I'm saying is that when a ride gets sent to Strava, if a sync is forced before turning off the bike mode, Strava will receive your heart rate recorded slurring the ride.

Hi there @Tontario, good to see you around. My apologies for the late response, however I noticed @Rich_Laue has been providing you the necessary help for the issue you are experiencing.
You did good in trying to revoke the access of Strava and contact them for additional help. In case still persists, I would like to give follow up on this issue with you. So, I'm wondering how it goes so far?
As it was mentioned, it's important to secure the GPS data in your Fitbit app, otherwise the information won't be share with Strava if there is lack of it.
A workaround in the meantime is to export a TCX file to your Strava account. To export GPS data:
Let me know how it goes, I'll be around!
