Fitbit Records, but Strava does not

I searched and read through previous posts like https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Third-Party-Integrations/Syncing-issues-between-Fitbit-and-Strava/td... but I can't find the answer to my issue. Fitbit and Strava are linked correctly. None of my Fitbit activities are transferring to Strava. I did read that for a while Strava was not accepting Fitbit activities unless they were started on the phone with GPS. I have a Charge 3, and don't typically carry my phone for a walk/run. Fitbit also records bike rides correctly, but nothing passes to Strava.

 

1. Is there still an issue with non-GPS activity not passing to Strava ?

2. Is this all remedied with a GPS-enabled Fitbit, forcing me to spend more $ ?

3. If yes, are there any workarounds ?
