Fitbit Update 08/26/2015: I have some awesome news to share with you all! Your Fitbit activities should now be syncing with Strava, thanks to our Engineering Team!

Thank you to everyone who had previously reported this issue!

If you continue to experience syncing issues between your Fitbit activities and Strava, I recommend revoking access and giving access to the Strava application following the steps outlined here.

My Fitbit data has been very slow to export to Strava i nthe past few weeks.  Today it seems to have outright failed.

What can I do to force my exercies to sync to Strava?  Or am I forced to manually export them, and import them in Strava?

I'm starting to get a bit frustrated with Fitbit over this sync issue, as well as the fact that the band on the Surge is not user-replaceable and will only be serviced while under warranty.  Since that is a 1 year warranty, this is extremely beyond disappointing and ultimately something I will likely leave Fitbit over.

@geoffgfletch@rickcummins@BentridersteveThanks for taking the time to join the Community! Excited to have you all here!

@geoffgfletch@rickcummins@SunsetRunnerHave you revoked access to the Strava app in the "Applications" settings page of your Fitbit.com account and given it access again? This should resolve the issue for you.

@BentridersteveIf the issue continues after revoking and giving access to Strava via the "Applications" setting, I suggest reaching out to our Customer Support Team who is able to give your account a closer look to provide further troubleshooting tips.

In regards to the Surge, you can check out our limited-warranty terms here. If you are experiencing issues with the wristband and are still under warranty, I suggest reaching out to support for this also! Hope to hear good news from you soon! Robot Very Happy

I have revoked the Fitbit and strava link, then reconnected but I still seem unable to sync my Fitbit and strava account. It was working but not any more, any suggestions would be appreciated please.

Same for me, ride today won't synch. Switched it of/on, waited, and the rest, but won't talk to Strava 😞 Have logged off and on, have cancelled link to Strava and reopened it, nothing.

I'm also experiencing this. My ride Monday hasn't synched over to Strava. I revoked the link and re-established it, but still no luck.

Hi, My fitbit-strava integration seems to be failing lately. I've reset the connections on either end (cancelled the integration on both strava and fitbit) and re-enabled them, but all that seems to work is a manual upload of the activity file. My tracker is working, and the data appears on the fitbit site, but nothing is coming over to Strava.

This issue just started occurring on September 4. Before that date, everything worked great.

Update: I got some data to come through this morning, but then the problem started again with tonight's ride. Looks like it's going to be a manual process to move data back and forth. 😞

Can you tell me how you manually move the data please?

You need to download the TCX file from Fitbit:

from the fitbit desktop:

click on the activity that you want to download

click on the ellipsis (...) on the top right of the screen

click on Export as a TCX File

save to your computer

Then you need to import the file to Strava:

from the strava desktop:

click on the plusbox on the top right of the screen

click on file on the left side of the screen

browse to select the TCX file you saved from Fitbit

click open

That's it! But, it used to do all this automatically- I would come home from a ride, and while I was putting the bike away I would get a notice from Strava that the ride was loaded.

I hope they get this fixed

Good Luck!
