Hi, I just got a flex and i've tried syncing it up with MFP but i'm having major issues.

Fitbit is sending my steps to MFP (they transfer over REALLLLLY slowly) but it is taking no calories over with it!

So yesterday, my intake goal was 1700 and I thought "Fitbit says I've burned 2000+ so i'll have an extra bowl of cereal as i can afford it" but no, because my fitbit calories wont move over to MFP, i ended up being over on my calories.

If I input excercie on MFP to the total burned on fitbit, it copies all of that over to fitbit and then thinks i've burned DOUBLE!

This is all really stressful since MFP assure me they've fixed the error and I need to just disconnect and re-connect the apps - which I have... 4 times.

Anyone know an actual way of fixing this?!

Hi @Catsncoffeex

Moved this thread from the Flex to the Third-Party Integrations section since more relevant to the topic & increases the chance of getting a solution.

@Catsncoffeex Calories won't transfer over from Fitbit to MFP. Your steps will sync over, and then MFP will calculate a 'Fitbit calorie adjustment' based on the amount of steps you synced. You probably shouldn't be logging the exercise in MFP if you're using Fitbit to track your activity, this could definitely cause double counting.

I've stopped logging workouts of MFP and am doing it on Fitbit. The other day the calories burned specifically for tracking exercise and workouts on Fitbit were displayed on MFP under "Fitbit calorie adjustment" but the last two days it's stopped doing it. Why has it stopped and how can I fix it so it does it again? X
