Fitbit app no longer communicating with Noom

My Charge 4 Fitbit appears to be working fine and the Fitbit app updates with all my stats properly. Since January 1 2025 I have had my Fitbit app  connected to my Noom app to send over step count data to the Noom activity tracker. This stopped working yesterday. I updated both apps, disconnected the Fitbit from Noom and revoked access from Noom and then reconnected them.  Both apps say the other is connected, but no data transfers.  My charge 4 is fully charged. Any thoughts about where the problem lies?

Same…updated everything and still not working….

Mine stopped working on Friday (2/14). Noom Support tell me it was an issue on Fitbit’s side, and both parties were aware of it. No ETA when the issue would be resolved.

Same. Both Noom and Fitbit apps show they updated on my device 1 on 2/12 and the other on 2/13.
Since 2/14 I have no synced data.

Still not working as of last night. Noom support replied that they (and Fitbit) are aware of the issue but nothing has been resolved yet.
I figured out a workaround for manually logging my steps in Noom, but it’s clunky.  Fine temporary solution, but hopefully Fitbit and Noom can get a fix soon.

Same thing happened to me as of last Friday. All was well on Thursday. Can you tell me how you figured out how to add steps manually? I've tried but nothing on my app seems to allow that.

Fitbit app seems to be syncing with my device (Inspire 3) but doesn't send Step data to Noom. Noom claims " there is a known Fitbit outage affecting sync functionality with Noom."... There is nothing re: outages on the Fitbit site. So, I guess we'll see.

I have an iPhone and there is no way to directly edit/add steps in Noom. But Noom can update steps from the Apple Health app if you connect it and allow permissions, and that app IS editable. Unfortunately, I generally don’t keep my phone on my body all day so the Apple Health app shows incorrect step numbers. So at the end of my day I check my Fitbit steps (which are more accurate) and “add” any missing steps into my Apple Health app that did not get recorded by my phone. As soon as I add the steps in Apple Health, Noom can read the data and it transfers over.

Like I said, it’s a clunky temporary solution, but at least the steps are logged in Noom where I want them.

When I was searching for a way to add steps, it sounded like Android users may have a way to directly edit in Noom, but not Apple.

Same here. Mine hasn't been working since Friday, 2/14 either. I've tried revoking permission and reconnecting from the Noom app but I can't find the app list on Fitbit. The only thing I can find is for a Google health app (of course! 🙄) When will it be fixed??

Charge 5, no updates to Noom app starting Feb 14. On IOS, I'm using workaround of adding a walk at the end of the day via Movement for the total mileage Fitbit reports with a time equal to my normal rate. Working for me but I hope Noom gets on this. Seems to be their issue.

My steps on my charge 4 are no loner showing up on my Noom account. Noom tells me it’s a Fitbit problem and once it’s fixed, they’ll show up. I contacted Fitbit and they said the two are no longer compatible. What?! Anyone else having this problem. Why aren’t they compatible anymore. If that’s true, I may have to get a tracker that does link.

No one could tell me when it would be fixed so far.

On my Fitbit app I clicked on the “gear” symbol (top right) and then scrolled down to “Manage Access to Account”. From there, I was able to revoke access for Noom app. However, it did not fix the problem.

Thanks. I'll give it a try. I've been doing what someone else said they did and converting my steps from Fitbit into "walk" miles in Noom. That's pretty clunky as well, and a big guess. I did think that there was no issue with the transfer from Apple Health to Noom, which makes me wonder if the problem really is with a Fitbit-Noom connection. The only positive is that it does seem to be happening for a lot of people, so it's not our individual devices that are failing.

I’ve also had the same problem for a few days. I’ve spoken to Noom a few times, yesterday they said it was a problem at Fitbits end but today they are saying the problem actually lies with Noom and they are trying to resolve it asap. Hopefully it won’t take much longer!

Same here! Mine has been disconnected since Thursday. It won't allow me to manually enter my steps either.

Same problem. I first contacted Noom a couple days ago and they said there was a Fitbit outage. I waited a couple days and then contacted Fitbit today and they said they are no longer compatible. I’m really frustrated.

I did the same thing. I tried removing and re-installing 3 times. Fitbit
told me the same thing and there is no way to enter steps manually that I
can tell. SO FRUSTRATING!

Same. I tried removing both apps and reinstalling, as well as restarting my
phone. Disconnected and reconnected them multiple times. Noom insists that
it’s just an outage that they are working on resolving. I contacted them
again today.

My fitbit began to sync with Noom yesterday. It had not been for the prior 5 days, then all of a sudden, I noticed steps recorded in the Noom app. Hopefully, it is starting to work for everyone else as well.
