My fitbit charge stopped working with my weight watchers app, so I disconnected it from my app.  Now I'm trying to sync it again and everytime I try i get this message:

{"code":403,"message":"Forbidden","errors":"Bad request"}

Anyone have any ideas on how I can get it to sync?

Sunday I had a regular walking day and my sync never really worked.  It "back synced" and gave me 7n APs.  Monday, I walked a wee bit more than normal but it logged 24 activity points!  As you can imagine, I know this is an error.  I contacted the WW help desk and they acknowledged the issue but have no timeline on the solution.

Several weight watcher members say their Fitbit flex is not connecting to weight watchers app so not showing active points! Mine is the same. Was ok yesterday when I checked but no sign of activity points earned today and previous days!

Can you advise if this is a general problem affecting members in post code area LL184HH?

Many thanks
Helen

Whew! I thought it was just me. It said I earned 22 yesterday and usually that amount of steps = about 8-10 activity points. I hope they fix it soon

Its a weight Watchers problem. You should contact them.

Many people  are complaining  about this over on the WW boards. So I would look for a resolution there.

I have tried that. I have disconnected, reconnected, uninstalled and every other imaginable combination. The staff at WW said it is an error on Fitbit's end and that you guys are working on it. But then I hear it is a problem on WW end. No one seems to be owning up to who has the issue and it is getting really frustrating. Especially since I have a fancy Fitbit AND an Aria and I can't seem to get either to work with my WW account. WW touts fitbit big time and yet I can't get them to work together. Very frustrating.

I apologize on their behalf for the inconvenience!

I have given up on the WW fitbit sync. Even when it was working, it was horribly inaccurate for actiivty points for my runs. If I ran for 90 minutes, it would give me maybe 6 AP if I was lucky. If I put the exercise into the WW tracker manually, it gives me 14 or 15 AP for that long of a run. Their antiquated tech and constant issues have made it not worth the aggravatioin. Just easier to unlink the two devices.

I am having an issue where AP are not being calculated correctly.  I tried CHAT and they were totally unhelpful. I then contacted tech support on Sunday and the  following email was delivered this morning:

Dear Marge,

Thank you for contacting Weight Watchers. My name is Rona and I will be happy to assist you with your eTools account. I apologize for any inconvenience that we may have caused you with your fitbit device.

Fitbit is not calculating activity PointsPlus / ProPoints values correctly. A fix has since been devised and is being released later today for all websites.

We are pleased to share that any incorrect values currently showing on our trackers will be adjusted following this fix.Weight Watchers is committed with your success. If you have any other questions or concerns, please reply directly to this email so we can further assist you.

Thank you for contacting Weight Watchers. I wish you the best of luck with your weight loss journey. I hope you have a great day.

I also revoked access to the WW program and am now trying to set it up to sync again, but no luck.  Is there a token or something that needs to be reset?  I've tried calling ww support (4 times so far) and one time to FitBit, but still no resolution.

My fitbit account isn't giving me points for my activity, i walked 5000 steps today and I didn't get any points for it. I havent been getting any points at all. I'm getting very fustrated and mad that I waisted my money on this thing.

I usually don't see AP for steps until I hit around 5,200

Are you sure you're doing enough to earn activity points? Quick check. Manually log the steps in your activity tracker to see if you earned points. If that calculation shows you earned points, you have a sync problem. And my experience is that it's usually a Weight Watchers server problem, not a fitbit server problem.

"Given that most of us probably don't know anything about Weight Watchers you may have trouble getting a solution here. Is there anyone at the WW end that you can ask?"

Another completely worthless post from @MikeF

Yes. It worked since I bought it 3 mos ago. Just stopped a week ago.

On Saturday after I wrote and complained it synced again. And synced yesterday.

Have no clue why it stopped for a week.

Hi all,

Since the latest update to Surge, there appears to be syncing issues with the Weight Watchers app / program and the accruing of WW Activity points.  Are there any other WW users out there experiencing the same.  This used to work ok, but is now extremely sluggish (i.e. points update 1-2 days after the activity / steps, if at all).

Thanks
