Thanks for getting back to us and for your feedback regarding One Touch Reveal glucose syncing @AngusBeef.

Thanks for sharing this suggestion. Our web API and smartwatch SDK are open which means that the service you are wanting can actually integrate with Fitbit. We’d encourage you to make this suggestion to the service and direct them to our existing API and SDK and resources such as the web dev API community. You will likely be able to email them via their contact us page or customer support, or they may have their own ideas board like this. Or encourage them to reach out to Fitbit directly.

Keep on visiting the forums.

It's still not working unfortunately

I specifically purchased a OneTouch Verio meter b/c the Fitbit app indicated it was the only supported meter that would sync directly with Fitbit. It worked flawlessly for over a month until today. Now it has stopped. Support for both Fitbit and OneTouch each points elsewhere. Fitbit says it's a OneTouch issue. OneTouch says Fitbit is not an officially supported app. Why push OneTouch on the Fitbit app, influence people's buying decisions and then tell them to pound sand when they request support?

While I feel the same about the lack of support, I have an update for anyone else who might experience this. Seems there was an issue with one reading specifically which did not originally sync across to Fitbit. When I made a change / edit to that reading, saved it and re-synced, it began syncing to Fitbit again.

My ONETOUCH had never sync'd with my Fitbit,  I have to manually enter my reading every day.   I specifically got this glucometer because it sync'd with Fitbit,  but that's not the case.   I have gone through the steps to set it up as a connected device in my Fitbit and it has never worked.

I want to highlight that the reply posted by @AndreaFitbit above is totally incorrect. Glucose API is not open and Fitbit solely has access to it. Hence blaming One Touch for its lack of proper work is deceptive.

This is the same reason why other glucose meters such as AccuChek for example (that my mother in law uses) can not be linked.

So, dear Fitbit, it's your responsibility to fix the syncing with your partner OneTouch.

Hi there @Shannini and @Dopovo , It's good to see you here in the Community.

I appreciate the feedback and troubleshooting performed. I'd suggest to reconnect both apps by trying the following steps:

  1. Open the Fitbit app.
  2. Tap the Blood Glucose tile > Settings.
  3. Scroll down and tap Connected Devices & Apps.
  4. Tap OneTouch Reveal and agree to the consent.
  5. Log in to your OneTouch Reveal account using your OneTouch Reveal credentials.

I understand your point of view and appreciate your feedback @Dopovo.

Hope this helps.

My one touch doesn't sync with fitbit.

I do not have a connected devices and apps selection under settings in the glucose tile in the app

Hi there @Mpaulic. It's good to see you back.

I appreciate the information shared. I'd recommend you follow the instructions on How do I connect my Fitbit account with another app?. Also verify you have the latest Fitbit Firmware and OS of your mobile device as well.

Some users usually find it useful to unpair and then pair both apps again to refresh the performance, if you already have them paired.

After you perform these steps you can also try to restart your Fitbit device.

If you continue having the same problem, please contact our Support Team or the third party customer service.

Have a nice day.
