Hello @Jonnyologist Welcome to the community forums!

I have investigated and I found that MapMyRun is supported. You can find more information here:

https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/technology/partnership/mapmyrun

You can share distance and calories from Fitbit to MapMyRun.

Hope this helps!

Can't see it in the list when I go to connect device?

Best Answer

@Jonnyologist Thank you for the screenshot!

This is odd but if you don't see MapMyRun there, I recommend following the steps below:

  1. Log into MapMyRun.
  2. Click the Improve tab and then select Device Connect.
  3. Find Fitbit on the list and click the Connect button. You're taken to fitbit.com.
  4. Log in with your Fitbit credentials.
  5. Go back to MapMyRun and go to your workout dashboard.
  6. Click the Import Workouts button
  7. Next to Fitbit click the Sync button. One month of your step history will be imported.

Currently, MapMyFitness apps include MapMyRun, MapMyHike, MapMyRide, and MapMyWalk.

Hope this helps!

Map my run. Map my ride. Map my fitness, map my walk. Are all the same app. If any of them are listed.

However it would not be Fitbit that doesn't support Map My Run. It would be Map My Run that decided to drop fitbit.

This seems like old instruction. There doesn't seem to be an improve tab on Mymaprun app or website and Fitbit isn't listed in the Apps & device section as shown in Jonnyologist screenshot.

My mapmywalk app also does not have ability to conect to fitbit. When will this be fixed or stop lying to us and remove it from works with us page on fitbit site.

As mentioned above @Pisihelena it is up to MMR to fix this. We can not tell you when MMR will fix this, it is their problem and they, not Fitbit, can fix this.

Does the MMR web site still say that they link up? If they do not link with fitbit, it will be up to them to let fitbit know.

Yes, but Fitbit has on its site, that it connects to MMR and if its not true, then Fitbit should take it down.

Best Answer

Yes Fitbit has it on their site, because for many years MMR has been syncing with Fitbit.

Has anyone told Fitbit that MMR has decided to not sync with fitbit?

Checking MMF website I see they have decided not to support fitbit anymore.

You may want to contact MMR and ask them to tell Fitbit that they no longer support fitbit.
