LF Connect gym cross-trainer being sync'd to Fitbit as a "Run"

Hi,

I have my fitbit and LF Connect accounts set up to sync activites from the gym.   It works well...except that activities logged from the LF Connect Cross Trainer are showing up on the FitBit app as "Runs"... it gets very confusing when I am doing a run as well on the treadmill!

The problem seems to be lying somewhere between the LF Connect website/app which shows the activity as a cross trainer, and FitBit which shows it as a Run!

I have tried to go into the FitBit site to amend the type of activity, but since it is not a manual activity, this cannot be changed.  Do you have any suggestions?

@BlueRajah It probably has to do with how LF Connect sends that activity to Fitbit. I'd recommend contacting them for more information.

Hi Andrew

 I have contacted LF - THey say it is a development issue whereby Fitbit did not give them an option to add "cross-trainer" activities as may have been the case with earlier fitbit devices.  While they are reviewing it, it would be helpful to get this right especially with the later devices.
