food added to fitbit does not sync to mfp. if you enter food directly to fitbit you will get macros on the fitbit page/app. there is no way to show net carbs I am aware of on fitbit web page or app so you have to subtract fiber from carbs manually which means having to open the fitbit log in a browser to check net carbs if mobile.
i preferred mfp for tracking macros (and food in general), and net macros with the tampermonkey for chrome extension, but there were so many syncing issues and frequent syncing outages that I now track all my food right in fitbit and quit using mfp completely. any foods I used to eat that I cant find in fitbit's food database I will just look up in mfp on a desktop browser and create a new food for myself in fitbit's web interface and star it so it is in my favorites list as well.
