Loseit! vs Fitbit food plan

Device: Inspire 2. What I’m curious and concerned about are the huge differences in food plans for the 2 different outlets. For instance, when I’m using Lose it! Free version to set a weight loss plan, it’s showing me a calorie budget of 1614. However, when I’m using the Fitbit app, it’s saying 1015 cal/day. I’d like to know which is a more accurate representation? I don’t want to lose weight drastically and get weak so I want to take it slow, so to me, 1000 cal seems a bit low? What would you suggest? Upgrade to paid versions or which budget to follow??

@FairuzS A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thank you for getting in touch about this.

I moved your post to this board in order to further assist you. I'll be happy to clarify your inquiry.

When using a Fitbit food plan, it will help you achieve and maintain your weight goal. When you're setting up a food plan, you'll have the option to choose from 4 plan intensity, it could be easier, medium, kinda hard and harder. In order to see the correct amount of calories that you're allow to eat, it's important to log your food and to sync your Inspire 2.

Learn more about it by checking this article: How do I track my food with the Fitbit app? and this Third-party informational post .

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Silvia, what I wanted to know was also about the meal plans. For instance, how do I know if I’m under or over budget, if I’m following 250cal deficit based on the easy plan?
Is there a setting that’s different? For the calorie tracker? This display is a bit confusing for me. Does this mean that I’m under calorie budget?

Please advice. Thanks .

@FairuzS Thank you for getting back.

Take into consideration that your food should be logged and your Fitbit device needs to sync in order to see accurate numbers. The Calories In vs Out tile will show if you're in, under, over or if you have met your goal.

Also the Food Plan tile will show how many calories burned you have and the calories eaten so far. It seems that the screenshot wasn't attached please follow these instructions to attach it to your next reply.
