Miles from Strava logging to fitbit?

Hello!

I recently started running and have been using Strava to track my runs. I noticed that after running 5 miles on Strava, the activity syncs and is logged on Fitbit, but the miles are not accurate, Fitbit only shows I did around 3. I tried using both Fitbit and Strava to track my runs for about a week and they were about the same everytime, only off slightly. However, if I just track with Strava, the log shows "0 of 12,024 steps taken" and doesn't show the correct amount of miles I ran according to Strava. Is there a way to adjust my miles for an activity logged using Strava? Or anyone have any ideas as to why the miles wouldnt transfer from Strava correctly to Fitbit?

For reference I have a Fitbit One.

Thanks!

You say you ran five  miles per Strava, but the FitBit only thinks it was a little over three? Would that be 3.1? If so, perhaps you're recording distances in kilometers at Strava and miles at FitBit.

Hey, @FrenchyGetsFit! Thanks for the updates. Runs and rides tracked via Strava will automatically contribute to your Fitbit all day stats like calories and activity minutes as well as manually logged exercises. Keep in mind that GPS and heart rate data tracked via Strava will not be imported. I suggest you to unlink and relink your accounts. You can do this from your settings and then Applications

Let me know how it goes!
