Update 1/13/2016
Hey everyone,
The syncing issue that was caused by the backlog of Fitbit requests has been resolved since 1/7/16, so I'll be closing this thread. This was a singular incident and is separate from any new issues. If you're still experiencing a syncing issue, please reach out to MFP so they can assist: https://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/portal/emai
If you're experiencing a different issue, I encourage you to browse through our forums for any existing information that might be helpful. If there's no existing information on the issue you've encountered, please post a new thread with any relevant details of the issue.
Thanks!

Some good news! Check out the latest update from MFP:
"We have finished processing the backlog of all of the Fitbit requests from the temporary suspension. We have addressed most of the things that attributed to this issue in the first place. The remnant issue that our members may still see is some delay with syncing of step count (though not calorie burn, weight, or meal summary totals). We are monitoring the status of the Fitbit integration very closely, in order to address any new issues immediately, should they arise.
As always, we appreciate your patience while we addressde these issues. We will continue to update this post so please check back for more information.
Please keep in mind that although we have resolved the issues causing the bulk of these symptoms, some members may still see similar symptoms, due to a different cause. If you are still having any trouble, we would be happy to help triage this to get you up and running. Please send us an email and we will get back to you! You can reach us here: https://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/portal/emails/new"
Thank you to everyone that reported this!
Update: 1/7/2016
Hey everyone, here's the latest update from MFP:
"While some of our members may see their Fitbit data syncing again as normal, we continue to have a backlog, and some of our members may still see a delay. We are monitoring the status of the Fitbit integration very closely today, working to resolve any other issues that may arise while we clear the last of the requests."
Thanks 🙂
Update: 1/6/2016
Hey all, here's an update from MyFitnessPal:
"The backlog of Fitbit sync request has been processing throughout the night, and is continuing to process today. Some of our members may see their Fitbit data syncing again as normal, but, as we continue to work through the backlog, some of our members may still see a delay. We are monitoring the status of the Fitbit integration very closely today, working to resolve any other issues that may arise while we clear the last of the requests.
During this time we do not recommend unlinking and relinking your accounts, as this will not resolve the issue for you."
You can find this update here. Thanks!
Update: 1/5/2016
Hey everyone, there's been a recent issue with MyFitnessPal syncing to Fitbit. MyFitnessPal is aware of the issue and they're currently looking into it.
I'll update this thread when I have more information, but you can also find updates from MyFitnessPal here:

Status? This is the 3rd day mine hasn't been syncing. I saw the post above.. but if they fixed it then I would think that mine would start working soon. I'm getting very annoyed by this.

MFP and fitbit normally talk to each other. The experts say only enter your food in
MFP and not fitbit. It is my experience (when everything is working) that MFP will pull calories burned from the fitbit. However, exercises when you're stationary will have to be manually entered in MFP. Hope this helps.

Finally working! But my Tues-Thurs logs are not available I contacted MFP unless it's an issue on fitbit's side - if so, can you help?

Has anyone been able to resolve the issue of Fitbit not syncing with My Fitness Pal. According to directions, I only need to enter the information into MFP and it will sync, but this is not happening. I've emailed Customer Support back and forth on this issue and spent hours on the phone with them, but this is still not resolved. I do not want to have to enter the information in two apps. Any advice will be appreciated.

Hi, @SandiB13, welcome to the forums. If the two are linked, you should be sending exercises from MFP to Fitbit, not the other way around. Food and exercise are synced from MFP to Fitbit, steps are synced from Fitbit to MFP.

Hi, new to all this...I've logged exercise on MyFitnessPal but its not showing on Fitbit - should it and if so how do I get it to? They are connected as steps on fitbit are showing on myfitnesspal and calories from myfitnesspal are showing on fitbit.
Is there something I'm missing and need to do in order to get the exercise information to sync from myfitnesspal to fitbit?
Thanks

@SandiB13, on the main page of MFP's website, there is a "Add Exercise" button. Click it and manually enter the exercise you did. You only need to do this if it's not a step-based activity, like say rowing, yoga, etc. Otherwise, the calories you burn will be incorporated into your steps, which are sent over to MFP.

Hi, I see the comments here but am not sure if my issue is related or not.
Evrything between Fitbit and MFP are syncing except for exercise, I have a Charge HR (Used to have basic fitbit previously linked through)
I hold the button down to start and stop a weights gym exercise session, it records fine in fitbit and shows calories HR etc on the dashboard but only seems to sync one line of steps to fitbit.
Is this correct, does that one fitbit adjustment include my exercise session or it should it be shown separately?
I left it all day on sync yesterday and it never gave a seperate exercise line so I added it manually in MFP but am now worried I have doubled it up ?
Any help would be welcome?
