This is a problem regarding the " Fitbit Full Day Projection" of calories burned on MyFitnessPal .
Fitbit always adds an absurd amount of calories to my "Exercise" tab...
This has been a recurring problem for the last couple of months .
For example - Fitbit has added 1,485 calories extra and has projected a total calorie burn of 3,596 calories by the end of the day and I only have 8,202 steps in the afternoon as I walk to the gym and workout in the morning ...
On the fitbit dashboard , it says that I have more than 1,600 calories left to consume even though I've already had 1,200.. I have a giant meal before and a small shake after.. this projection is completely unrealistic as I'm fairly inactive for the rest of the day and yes , I've plugged in my goal as "Weight Loss" on fitbit too.
This issue presented itself suddenly.
I want to know how to solve it and if it has been my error by doing something that has caused this so it doesn't happen again
Cheers.

Welcome aboard to our Community @ManikAhluwalia, I really hope this issue is not happening by now, but take a look at one of the common reason this may happen.
Keep in mind also your food plan setting is set to "Personalized," which uses your past activity history to estimate your calorie burn for the day and increases or decreases that number if you're more or less active then usual throughout the day. Since your calorie budget is calculated based on your daily calorie burn, your calorie budget will fluctuate.
If the issue persist, feel free to share some screenshots to take a closer look, I'll be around.
