@KateFitbit like I say the gps data is visible, there is a map and all data like usual in the Fitbit app but the second run today still hasn't synced with strava.

A friend I run with has the same problem.

I am am using a charge 2 and iPhone 6s

@Liamkirkham - got it thanks. At this time there isn't a reported outage with Strava, but I'm following up with our team with this information to see if we can get more insight.

There is a reported outage 🙂 right here on the forum. Been using this
combination for three years I think. Always syncs within seconds or
minutes. This whole week, not syncing at all.

Hi
It baffles me as only way for it to sync is to take my phone as well, that’s why I bought a Fitbit with gps so I didn’t have to take phone.
I am running tomorrow I will try again and see what happens.

My runs also have not been syncing with Strava right away.  Yesterday's run didn''t show up in Strava until today.  Today's run has not appeared in Strava yet   Something seems to have broken on the connection.  It usually appears right away.

@KateFitbit, like @Liamkirkham I am also using an iPhone, so perhaps something from iOS to Strava that is stopping the runs syncing?

I'm using a Blaze and get no GPS data on runs, but I do get them on rides.

2/19/18 - I have still been having issues with the Strava to Fitbit sync.  I have a run in Strava on 2/18 that has not loaded to Fitbit.  I've tried disconnecting the link, reinstalling app, restarting phone.  Pretty much out of options but last sync from Strave to Fitbit for me was January 28th, but there should be activities from five February events (most recent 2/18).

@KateFitbit First run of the week not synced!

@SarahFC - I'm not seeing GPS activity in Fitbit, so that would not sync over to Strava.

@1UNQGRL - GPS information from Fitbit should sync to Strava. In this case, I'm not seeing any run on 2/18 so it seems like it may be a syncing issue versus syncing to Strava.

@Negy67 - I'm not seeing GPS activity for 2/18, so that would not sync to Strava. I do see GPS for today, 2/20, did that sync to Strava?

@LurchZA - Since you aren't getting GPS data it won't sync to Strava. It seems like there is an issue tracking the running activities. I went ahead and created a case for you to see if support can find out more about what's going on.

I actually used my Garmin to track my run, synced to Strava from my Garmin, which normally syncs over to the Fitbit app and dashboard.  The missing runs are in my Strava account but did not sync to Fitbit.  Oddly, my run from yesterday did go from Garmin, to Strava, to Fitbit.  Still missing several previous runs though.

You will see it as I have had to take my phone with me for it to sync over. I will run tomorrow without phone to see if it works again

@1UNQGRL I'm not entirely sure why your activities aren't syncing to Fitbit, but it is a different issue than the outage from last week. Glad to hear your last run worked correctly.

@Negy67  It you run without the phone with a Charge 2 it will not sync to Strava because there will be no GPS activity. As I mentioned you would need your phone, Strava will only sync GPS related activities. Charge 2 has connected GPS that requires the phone. For more information, check out this article

Since the outage originally posted in this thread has been resolved, I'm going to go close this thread, if you are experiencing a new issue please do start a new thread and our team will investigate.
