Fitbit Update 11/03/15 02:13 PM: Everyone -- The Strava and Fitbit integration issues have been resolved. I am closing this thread from further discussion for organizational purposes.

If you're still experiencing issues, I recommend revoking access to the integration and reconnecting by following the steps outlined here.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to report this issue and for your patience while we worked to get it resolved in a timely manner! Now it's time to get out and ride! Robot Very Happy

Fitbit Update 10/21/2015 3:54 PM:If you're continuing to experience syncing issues between Fitbit and Strava, please check out Strava's response and follow these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Have you tried reconnecting your accounts, syncing your Fitbit tracker, and waiting an hour?
  2. Have you confirmed that you are not recording a duplicate exercise in the Strava app and Fitbit app/device simultaneously?
  3. Have you confirmed that you are recording a GPS exercise with your Fitbit? (Only exercises with GPS on Fitbit will be sent to Strava).
  4. Have you confirmed that you recorded a new exercise after connecting you accounts? (Previous exercises won’t be uploaded. You can use the TCX export from Fitbit to upload older exercises manually).

If you've made sure of all of the above and your activities are still not syncing between Fitbit and Strava, please fill out this form to send your Strava athlete ID to us so Fitbit can continue to investigate.

Fitbit Update 10/19/2015 3:18 PM: I've been in contact with our API Team and they are still looking into the issues everyone here has reported! I appreciate all the feedback!

I apologize for the delay in getting this issue resolved but can confirm that we are actively working on getting everyone back on track! Thank you for your continued patience! Robot Happy

Fitbit Update 10/16/2015 3:59 PM: Please check out what syncs between Fitbit and Strava and some troubleshooting tips that should help get you back on track:

What is synced to Strava from Fitbit:

  • Exercises with GPS data recorded with Fitbit will be sent to Strava (Heart rate data will be included when it's available).
  • Exercises recorded with Fitbit's app or devices that do not include GPS data are NOT currently sent to Strava

What is synced to Fitbit from Strava:

    • Exercises recorded in Strava will be synced to Fitbit as manually logged activities, but will NOT include GPS or heart rate data from Strava

If you are still unable to sync your data between Fitbit and Strava or vice versa, try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Log in to your Fitbit dashboard
  2. Click the gear icon on the top right corner
  3. Click "Settings"
  4. Click "Applications" on the left side
  5. Click "Revoke Access" under the "Fitbit + Strava" app
  6. Go to https://strava.fitbit.com/ and click "Connect" and follow the rest of the prompts to finish reconnecting your Fitbit and Strava accounts

Fitbit Update 10/16/2015: Hey all, we're continuing to monitor this issue! It doesn't seem as it is resolved for all users yet, some have reported that after a delay it work but it shouldn't take forever. Rest assured that the API team is still working on it! You can expect an update from me early next week, hopefully with some good news.

Fitbit Update 10/14/2015: Hey everyone -- our team has been looking into the issue with syncing your Strava data over to Fitbit. To pass along information to the engineers working on this issue, are you still experiencing issues with syncing and connecting Strava to your Fitbit account? If so, please try to unlink Strava with your Fitbit and relink it again before replying. Looking forward to your responses! Thank you!

Fitbit Update 10/06/2015: We've received reports that users are unable to set up or sync between their Fitbit and Strava accounts. I have forwarded your information to our Product Specialist Team who is currently looking into this issue. Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve the issue ASAP.

Same problem here. I've unlinked both and re-synced with no joy.  At least Strava is reporting the ride data to my Fitness Pal and the ride data from My Fitness Pal is coming into Fitbit. They need to correct the direct data sync to/from Strava to Fitbit directly.

Manually adding all workouts going forward isn't really integration... that's more of a chore.

Also, I suppose I misread this topic -- mine is that my strava activities aren't showing in Fitbit.

@psykes001I totally agree that you shouldn't need to manually move the activities over, I just wanted to see if the file from your Fitbit account is working when put into Strava. Anyway, your issue is the opposite, your Strava activity isn't syncing over to Fitbit.

Have you already unlinked the integration from the Strava side and linked them again?

Regarding strava data syncing to fitbit.

This has been working for months perfectly, but now since Oct 4th none of my data is sycning.  I have also re-connected the account.  So hopefully this issue will be resolved soon.

@ErickFitbit Yeah, have repeatedly tried linking and unlinking accounts.

My Strava activites stopped synching on Monday. I revoked access and reconnected and still not synching.

I am having the same issue. Starting Monday morning, rides have not synced from Strava to the Fitbit app.

Same for me...no Strava updates starting Monday. Any FitBit folks monitoring this that can comment? My understanding is that FitBit pulls the data from Strava which makes me suspect that the issue may be on the FitBit end.

Hi all. I've just tried it again and Strava is not loading to Fitbit on iPhone 4s

I started the iPhone strava app. I started the stopwatch on charge hr.

I then stopped then at the end 20 mins or so stopping strava first.

Could do with some help.

Thanks.

Same here.  Rode with Strava last night and noticed it didn't sync. Must be a back end thing?  Don't think it would be an issue with the Charge HR.  And Strava seems to be working normally.

@steelbr1@psykes001@Caroline_EatonStrava syncing may be delayed for a short period of time. Our team is aware of the issue. Syncing to and from Strava should return to normal momentarily.
