Sync Samsung Watch data to Fitbit

Hi I have been bought the latest Samsung galaxy watch for my birthday, I have always used fit bit, so I want to continue. Just wondering if anyone can shed light on which apps sync well to give shared steps, runs, walks, heart rate and sleep data to fitbit from my watch.

I used health sync. it syncs my steps from Galaxy to the Fitbit app as long as I dont unpair my Fitbit  I guess I can just leave my Fitbit at home and see if it works instead of wearing two watches like a weirdo.

I have tried both "Fit and Healthy" and "Health sync". Same issue with both, which is a pity as I like fitbit challenges, specially the solo adventures.

Same here... I couldn't do it either.

However, I was able to find the Fitbit blaze back cover replacement on
www.aliexpress.com and with the help of YouTube, i fixed mine. It's a
simple and easy fix once you get the replacement.

I just tried something and it seems to have worked. I  took my Fitbit versa off and walked around the building with just my Samsung Galaxy on and it added my step . I guess I will just keep the Fitbit at home and sync daily when I am home

I could keep track of my steps but could not participate in any challenges.

exactly Go-rilla, the only thing that Health-Sync does, is sync the steps you walk, nothing more, because , according to wath the Health-Sync programmer told me, FITBIT doesn't give permission for other things including floors. In my case I´ve stopped using my IONIC  last september so, as you can see comparing the graphCaptura de pantalla (530).png the number of floors has been zero from september till today.

Please let us know if you solve the challenge issue. I would love to participate in fitbit challenges.

I had two fitbit devices that I used. Both failed shortly after the first year of use. I am done with the fitbit devices. My last fitbit died trying to fix the notifications and doing a shutdown like the forum said to do. It never restarted. I went to Samsung Galaxy Watch because in business I need my notifications to work correctly. I was hoping that a recent Google Acquisition would have the foresight to allow plugins or other api connectivity to push steps and other metrics so we could continue with the Fitbit Challenge.

It seems as though good marketing in this case wouldn't be the normal proprietary/greedy marketing strategy... My friend that inspired the fitness tracker and now my wife have fitbits. 3 other friends have garmins and 2 have no-name brands. We'd all love to be able to help & encourage each other and others... But can only do so in a hodge-podge manner sending screen shots via texts or messenger or emails... If y'all were the first to have/be a hub for all - pretty sure that it'd pay off. I know that though I wouldn't need to anymore... I'd eventually switch to an ionic... But for now the greedy corporations will have us hodge podge our mediocre ways... Be nice... Or don't & see where it gets you.

@Sqwigee I'm sure that's exactly it. I definitely think that Fitbit should rethink allowing other trackers to sync up with the Fitbit app,  if only to encourage others and Fitbit users.

Tried to use myfitnesspal to sync steps but it doesn't work with Fitbit app. I guess Fitbit only likes IOS (apple products). I will miss the daily challenges with my Fitbit and Apple friends

Fitbit owner for years, then my Blaze broke, bought the galaxy watch, does not integrate, hated it, so I got a Fitbit to put in my pocket and that has not turned out good, washed one and lost the other. Fitbit should have a tracker/phone features.

I have owned four different fitbit trackers over the years.  Charge 2 HR was the most recent.  I absolutely loved the fitbit app, challenges, and community.  Are there still no plans to sync with third party trackers?  I've already spent hundreds of dollars on an LTE smart watch that integrates completely with my phone, does everything a fitbit tracker does and then some, and looks ten times better doing it.  If my only choice is to either buy and wear a second fitness tracker or I don't get to use the fitbit app to its full potential, then I guess I'm no longer part of the fitbit community.

I have not found a way to do it, I understand they use to have those
options, but it is no longer there.
