Sync Samsung Watch data to Fitbit

Hi I have been bought the latest Samsung galaxy watch for my birthday, I have always used fit bit, so I want to continue. Just wondering if anyone can shed light on which apps sync well to give shared steps, runs, walks, heart rate and sleep data to fitbit from my watch.

In your opinion, do you think it would then allow you to wear either device interchangeably, while syncing info all in one place? I'm asking because I literally JUST bought myself a Versa 2 "pebble only" (without the option to return, stupid me) plus all the necessities, only to receive the most amazing mother's day present from my kids: a new Galaxy 2!! I am wondering if I can wear my Samsung most of the time, but switch out to my Versa when doing things like horseback riding or gardening where I wouldn't want to ruin my Galaxy. Anyone ever done or heard of doing that? Or should I just attempt to assemble the Versa as a complete tracker (w/ band & charger) and resell on eBay? ...so annoyed I didn't read the fine print. Any advice would be welcome! (other than be smarter next time haha, I got that down!)

sorry,  I don't know the answer to that. I do know that changeing from fitbit to my Samsung active2 watch has been fabulous.  In particular I like the choice of screens and being able to change them and customise them to show the specific information that I want.

I wish you all the best with your devices. All of them.

I gave up on Fitbit.  I would like to use my Fitbit for while I am doing farm and yard work.  To save the Galaxy.  I have seen that in the USA you can connect to Fitbit app but I don't have this option in Canada.  Have you found a work around?

Yes, exactly, I think the reason people (including me) moving to Samsung watch is because of the App (or the lack of function in the app).

Hello everybody, thank you for visiting the Fitbit Community.

Our team is constantly working to improve our products and services. Your feedback is highly appreciated.

At the moment, there is no option to sync non Fitbit devices data to Fitbit, but you are welcome to make a suggestion in the Feature Suggestions board which is constantly monitored by our engineering team for future implementations. If there is any update, it should be communicated as soon as possible.

I am going to close this thread since it is too old, but if there is anything else we can help you with, please don't hesitate to start a new topic.

Have a nice day.
