Syncing issues with Spotify and Versa 3

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

For whatever reason, after three or four days or so after linking my Spotify to my Fitbit app it somehow disconnects and my watch (Versa 3) gives me an error telling me to sing into Spotify on the Fitbit app. Does anyone know what's causing this issue?

Hi @Myrodriguez  - you can get around the issue by using the inbuilt watch music controls.

Double press the button to get them. This should allow the control of any music playing on the phone.

In addition to controlling music you will also be able to change volume and do this without leaving whatever clock face or app you are currently using.

Hm, does that mean there is no way to use Spotify Connect, should I uninstall it at that point? The intent for this is to control Spotify from my watch when I use my phone to play music on a bluetooth device, sadly this built in music control doesn't seem to do that, unless the audio is from my phone.

Thank you for letting me know there is a work around, however this feature can only be used by turning on quick access in the settings, which I did not have on so it took a bit to get to the menu for me. Regardless, I appreciate the response, thank you!

Hi there @Myrodriguez. Welcome to Community Forums.

@Guy_ thanks for the support.

I appreciate you shared your experience the Spotify app.

I'd recommend you follow the instructions on How do I connect my Fitbit account with another app?. Some users usually find it useful to unpair and then pair both apps again to refresh the performance, if you already have them paired.

If you continue having the same problem, please contact our Support Team or the third party customer service.

Have a nice day.
