Weight Gurus: Issue Establishing Integration Connectio

I am trying to connect my Greater Goods Weight Gurus account to my Fitbit account but each time I attempt to setup the integration I receive the following error message in a loop:

"Sorry, it looks like something went wrong. You can go back to the Weight Gurus app to try again"

I'd be grateful for any support

FINALLY....I went to the app store, searched for weight gurus and THEN it told me I had an update and now it works. I also had to completely log out and back in.

I got it now to integrate with Weight Gurus a few days ago. However it is still not syncing the information to Fitbit.

Can anyone acknowledge after the update that the information is actually syncing to Fitbit?

The Integration was successful, but the information is still not syncing to Fitbit.

I am using Android with a Pixel 10 Pro XL and not syncing.

Can any Android users acknowledge the information is actually syncing to Fitbit?

I'm on Android with a Pixel 7 Pro. The Fitbit integration completed successfully in the Weight Gurus app on Monday, but data transfer to Fitbit has been oddly inconsistent. My weight transferred on Monday and Wednesday, but not Tuesday, Thursday or today/Friday. Also, when the data did transfer on Mon/Wed, it took hours before it showed up in the Fitbit app. Previously the data would typically show up in Fitbit within 5 minutes or so.

I tried to re-integrate on 11/17 and it worked, plus all my weights since
10/7 populated into FitBit. But the weights from 11/18, 11/20 and 11/21 did
not, although Wednesday the 19th did. Still not completely reliable.

Weight Gurus emailed me today.

"Thank you so much for your patience while our Tech Team worked through this bug and updated the app. The issue with the Weight Gurus app integration should now be resolved. Please let us know if you’re still experiencing any trouble."

Let's keep the feedback going.  I have given them the link to this thread. Hopefully they will monitor and see in fact ithe integration is still buggy / not working for many of us. Thanks

Following on MJShaw's comment - I hadn't looked back at my 10/7-11/16 data because I had been manually entering it myself, but I see now that I have double entries on everything so Weight Gurus must have transferred that over too. It looks like our experience is exactly the same:

  • Data between 10/7 and 11/16 back-filled
  • New measurements on 11/17 and 11/19 transferred
  • 11/18, 11/20 and 11/21 not transferred

This is bizarre behavior.
