I would really like to be able to do some neat things with my fitbit by automating different tasks, and even using the Fitbit vibration as a trigger response. Any news on when it will be integrated with If this then That? or similar service?

Oh yes. This would be the best thing ever. The Jawbone UP is there.
There are lots of very neat things you can do with ifttt. Please strongly consider it.

Anyone interested in IFTTT should check out today's Fitbit Blog post on the subject, located here.
You'll find the Fitbit IFTTT channel here.

This is how I learned about IFTTT, but I can't activate Fitbit as an IFTTT channel because I keep getting an internal server error from Fitbit. Any chance this will be fixed soon?

@acreech I'm excited for you to start enjoying IFTTT, and am glad that you found it via Fitbit!

I went through the process of activating the FitBit channel in IFTTT. I logged in with my FitBit account, and then got the error I mentioned before. Every time I tried after that (already logged in, according to the app), it would tell me that the page no longer existed and give me the option to to to FitBit.com, where I received another error. That is what happened again just now. However, this time I noticed I could log out, which I did, and after logging in again, it actually activated the channel instead of giving me an error message.
I'm assuming something was broken on the FitBit servers when I first tried.

I am currently having the same trouble. I have tried from Chrome, Microsft Edge, and Firefox running Windows 10, and also from Safari on my iphone 6+. Is this something that will work itself out?

I get the internal error, then hit the back button, and this is on my page.
Uh-Oh...

I use the ifttt app, have had no problems. As for your uh oh, this is usually caused by a script and your refresh, the script did not get the proper input.
