I can't get my versa 4 and my android phone to connect. It is saying I need an app. I am frustrated and tired of trying to get it connected. I have tried getting help and I feel like I am just hoping in circles. I am have the fitbit app and have the Google account. I am getting to yhe point I want my money back and go by a regular watch and get an app on my phone. Please help me. What apps do I need to connect my versa 4 to my android phone.

Sad to hear that you're having issues setting up your Versa 4. Thanks for having taken the time trying to get things fixed by yourself.
To hopefully get hings fixed, please first make sure that the phone your using with the Fitbit app does meet Fitbit's current system requirements:
Next I'd suggest to start all over with setting up your device instead of fiddling around with troubleshooting any longer. So, please uninstall your Fitbit app, restart your phone and re-install the Fitbit app from the Google Play store:

@Bbssweetie You can follow the suggestions in the previous comment, you can also check this article to have a little bit more of guide on how to set up your device.
As the Versa 4 says, you need to download the Fitbit app and create an account to set it up.

Stesso mio problema! Si assoccia al mio smartphone ma non si connette... mi dice che ho bisogno di un app... ho provato di tutto: riavviare, disinstallare, sono andata al negozio dove l'ho comprato e ho eseguito per la centesima volta la procedura on line con l'assistente fitbit... ma nulla!! Spero lei abbia risolto!
