No Auto Recognize for Walks

Since the update, the app is not auto detecting walks, etc.  It says I haven't exercised, but then I go in zone minutes and my walks are clearly there as vigorous exercise

Any way to fix this (or go back to the old app?). I'm ready to ditch this all together.  First no challenges now this - what a waste.  And, no, Google - I won't by a Pixel.  I'll buy an apple watch

I'm on Android for phone

You probably are correct, but I also wanted to point out that you could be getting zone minutes if your walks did not meet the minimum time length to be auto-recognized.  You might want to check that hasn't somehow gotten changed with the update.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

That's a valid question- I did check and my auto recognize is set at 15 minutes, and my walks are 60+ minutes.  I would of set my Fitbit to track (easy enough) but I always auto recognized before.  And I tried manually entering the walks, but without a distance to record, it won't let me.  Ugh
