Notifications are not coming through my Versa 4

I have a Versa4 Fitbit. I purchased it about 8 weeks ago.  Initially, I was getting text message notifications from android users and iphone users.  Now, I only get text notifications from my friends that have android phones.  How do I get my notifications to go back to getting messages from everyone, no matter what type of phone they have?  I have looked through the settings, manuals, etc.  and can't get it to work.  It was working fine 4 days ago, and then all of a sudden it stopped giving my notifications from my friends that have iphones. I don't have the do not disturb on either so I should be getting notifications. How do I fix this so I start getting notifications from everyone again? I am at a loss.

Just to confirm , did you read this: Why are notifications delayed or missing?
In the meantime, please make sure that the phone is not in silence mode.
