Transcription Error on Versa 4

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've already viewed the previous threads relating to a "Transcription Error", Alarm Clock Setting, and "Link Sent". I've troubleshooted all day.

It's Brand new. Opened out of box today (For Christmas). Fully charged. Software fully Updated.

I cannot use the microphone to respond to Messages. It causes a transcription Error. Which I can't find a resolution for.

I also cannot set an Alarm. The screen goes berserk. And it doesn't save as a set alarm.

And when I want to open something it sends "Link Sent" but doesn't do anything else.

I haven't even began to check any other features. Because 3 Strikes so far.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hi there, @Kayxo01. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is still stuck on that error message. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

If you haven't done so, let me recommend updating the Fitbit app to the latest version. This should resolve the issues with the transcription error displayed when using voice replies on your Versa 4. To do this:

  1. Go to the App Store (for iOS devices) or Play Store (for Android devices).
  2. Search for Fitbit.
  3. You should get a button to update the app.

About the issues with the alarms, please try restarting your Versa 4 by following the steps provided here
