So are all the issues people have been complaining fixed? Update message has shown up on my phone and not so sure I want to do it...

Updated yesterday.  So far so good.  Had figure out how to change the clock face, did that and it works.  Nice option but I probably won’t use it.

Dynamic GPS is nice to have.  But I rarely use GPS unless I’m tracking a new route, which I did just once and that was by the built in GPS.  Tracking a new route is about the only reason I think I’d use GPS.

I am not sure if this is related to the update but yesterday when going for a run the auto off feature kicked in for my run activity.  Three times during my outing the Versa popped up with a notice asking if I wanted to end the session.

This has not happened since I disabled those auto on auto off functions some time ago.  I checked my settings and they were still set to be disabled so I’m not sure what’s going on.

Since updating I've been experiencing problems.  It happens when I sync.  A step record is added at midnight and continuously increments until I close the app.  I've let it go and it topped 1.6 million and continued to count until I closed the app.  Looking at the history, it first occurred on the day I updated, yesterday, and today has been a disaster.   I've deleted step records and afterwords the count on the watch is correct, until I sync with the app again.  Something is seriously wrong with the update... firmware and/or app!

My Versa 4 exercise stats contain much less information now. I can’t see my heart rate breakdown/graph for my workout anymore, my average heart rate for that workout is now gone, and I can’t customize/classify the sport anymore, it just lists useless “sport” or “aerobic exercise” headings and it won’t let me edit/change them. I liked the old breakdown/features much better, they’ve now taken out most of the useful details! 😞

I installed the update this morning. It turned my clock face an annoying pink. How do I change back?

Best Answer

I installed it. No issues, slightly better syncing, cool to change faces, nothing else about this update to talk about..

Best Answer

looks like better not to installed it.

Is it normal that moderator doesn't reply for users issues?

Best Answer

I wondered about that lack of response.  I’m going to use another means to report a bug I am dealing with.

My Fitbit has not tracked any sleep since the update.

Got this update today and now the exercise details are missing a lot of info like heart rate and I can no longer change the category.  I get the generic Sport and now I cannot change it as it is not on the edit page.  Please, please put this back the way it was before.

Me too. Maybe a cool feature works be to add an update checker:)

Since this update, my watch is no longer connected to my iPhone and cannot get them to pair

Update... I followed the trouble shooting procedure provided by the moderator.  Maybe it's not a firmware issue, but an app issue.

The continuous incrementing hasn’t occurred since the original occurrence the day I installed the firmware.  Since installing the new firmware I’ve been getting phantom records in the app.  These occur at 12:00AM to 12:15AM each day… while I’m asleep.  Steps totals range from 407 steps (on the first day) to 7,910 steps.  I’ve checked my wife’s and daughter’s app/data and they’re also getting the daily phantom records at 12:00AM to 12:15AM.  To get an accurate daily count of steps I force close the app and go strictly by the watch., which appears accurate.  I sync once a day before going to bed to get info recorded.  That's when the phantom record is updated on the watch.  Steps are then inaccurate, so history is inflated, so far by 29,588 Steps!  At least the other data is saved and hopefully accurate.  Data accuracy is important to me.  Hopefully you can fix this bug soon.

Must agree - missing being able to examine my heart rate after activities - this was the reason I bought versa 4 - is there a way of doing this that I can’t find?

So I have since found a workaround for this problem — annoying and inefficient, but it still works. Click on Exercise Days … then click the 3 dots at the top right of the screen … then click Manage Data … then choose Exercise (Exercise Logs, GPS Tracking) … then choose Review Your Data … at this point, the interface looks familiar and you can see all the usual details (& change the category, etc.). Hope they change this back to the user-friendly format again, but hope this helps in the meantime!

I am having the same issue, which started this past weekend.

I'm having the same issues. Please help @Fitbit! I don't like that the graphs are all different and it's just hard to read now. The previous heart rate breakdown/graph was much more helpful!
