We’re excited to announce that a firmware update version 210.26 for Versa 4 has been released to all our members. Some of you might already have this update available. If you installed it, let us know what you think!
We release updates to customers in phases. If you don’t see it, check the Fitbit app in a few days, and you’ll see a message when you can install the update. We appreciate your patience while we get this update to all of our customers.
*Firmware releases are not distributed based on region or location and can reach anyone no matter where you reside. We do not recommend performing a factory reset to force the update to your device as your data will be lost and you may not get the update. Please be patient and wait until you see the update banner inside of the Fitbit app to begin the firmware download.

I am trying to update my Versa 4 firmware from version 61.20001.184.52, but there is no pink update button. How do I update it then?

This entire thread has had so many problems with the new update it’s rendered our fitbits almost useless. If i were you I’d read the problems and possibly try to prevent it.

I just read that Fitbit is phasing out by the end of September and it will just be Google. Here is the article that popped up on my feed.

You know I'm beginning to think the same thing. I will be contacting Google later today to see if any of this can be resolved. This is just so unbelievably. There have been so many complaints about this and I have been with Fitbit for years, you would think that we shouldn't have to contact them they should be reaching out to us.

If you can't update it yourself contact Google so they can take you through the process of updating it.

This update has essentially made my Versa 4 unusable. It starts an exercise while I am not doing anything, chooses to set screen to always on, and trying to fix it does not make a difference. I try to change display settings, and nothing happens, This is not an update , it's a hot mess. Fix this ASAP.

My watch/tracker no longer works since this update. It turns on and I get the Fitbit logo diamond then it inverts and then it goes back to normal. It does this a few times then I get a red X. This is unacceptable because it was working great before the update and not it does work at all. I've done everything I can as far as what I've read and nothing seems to fix it. My phone wants to sync with it BUT the code never shows up on the screen.

Ever since the update I have had issues with my heart rate showing higher than it really is. I have manually confirmed my heart rate and my Fitbit is reading higher than it should. I also am showing many more floors and I should have

Totally agree. The fitbit and the app used to be great. The prior version of the app looked better and was easier to use. The new app sucks and it doesnt show pace and it doesnt track consistently. It’s painful to use. This is my 6th and last fitbit. It’s crap now.

I think that Fitbit users need to know what is actually going on. I hate to see my Fitbit family going through this. Can someone from Google please let us all know what's going on? I don't want my Fitbit family to continue leaving or giving up on this. I appreciate them very much, they have showed me so much support that I greatly needed and I hope that they will be able to continue doing so. We are a family, someone help fix these issues so many of us are having.

Seems to be problems in Fitbitworld. It has taken me almost fifteen minutes just to find this thread. I came to say that I bought a different tracker, so I won't be fighting this website any more. It was fun and helpful for a number of years, but this looks like the end of the road. I wish you all well.
