Versa 4 blank screen

My screen has gone black fully charged ....how do I  restart this device? I have been a long time customer. Fit bit surge 3 fitbit ionics 2 fit bit blazes and now the versa 4. 2 ionics bricked the blaze buttons wore out and the surge went out a long time ago. Why do I keep coming back?

Hi @JOHNNYBlaze - does neither pushing the button, double tapping or placing it on charge revive it?

You can always chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support.

Just in case as a prior owner be aware of the settings change -Screen wake confusion

Mine has the same problem.  Turns off minutes after turning on.  Fully charged.  Tried factory reset nothing fixed it.  Just a bad product.

Yes tried all that was listed above and placed back on charger even though my app is at 87% for the versa.

Just call the support folks through the app on the phone.  It’s my understanding after speaking to them they’re having a lot of factory problems with the Versa 4.  They’re sending me what I need to mail it back in and they’ll mail me a new one that’s not broken, eventually.  They were pretty non-committal on timelines.  Hopefully that helps you!

My screen went black last night a few hours after the gym. I press the button and nothing. I press and hold an the watch vibrates. Double tap and nada. Cleaned all ports on phone and charger and nothing. How did you factory reset your device?

@JOHNNYBlaze  - even though it is new there have often been issues with the charge cable so just in case see How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen

Kind of nuts here. Been on the phone with 2 reps first one could not understand me and we wasted 30 minutes.  Second one we updated the fitbit app synced charged played with the buttons in every manner possible installed a new clock face etcetera etc and told me my case would be escalated to someone higher and they would email me. I know this is a brand new watch but there is clearly something messed up and not sure how long anything will take if at all. Anyone know how to return it and get a refund? I should have waited and got it off Amazon instead of pre-ordered from fitbit.
