I just got my watch yesterday and it was working fine till this next morning. The screen won't turn on it just stays black. I know it was charged last night. When I hold the side button to reset it, it vibrates after one second of holding but that's it. No matter how long I hold it, nothing else happens. It never resets the watch.

Hi there, @Dbasco1. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Versa 4 is still blank. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
If you haven't done so yet, please try the steps below:
If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device once again as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Hello @MarreFitbit,
I have tried both of these steps with no success unfortunately. The watch is still unresponsive.
Thanks

Hi @Dbasco1 - it seems your watch may need charging, as the previous charge might not have been good.
The instructions here may be useful How to check charge cable - Sense 2/Versa 4 won't charge, won't start or blank screen

@Dbasco1 Thanks for trying the steps I recommended.
Have you tried what @Guy_ suggested? Please do a manual factory reset. Important: Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.
With the above being said, please sync your Versa 4 and then, press and hold the button for about 8 seconds until the screen turns off and vibrates. When the customer feels the vibration, release the button, then immediately press and hold the button again. Wait for the Fitbit logo to appear, then as soon as the logo disappears, release the button, then press and hold the button again. When you feel the vibration, release the button, then wait for the watch to complete the factory reset.
