Versa 4 draining quickly

I loved this watch but ever since the latest software update the battery drains so quickly. It used to last for days, now I have to charge 2x a day. It'll be at 100% when I take off charge, then I'll instantly 91%.  It's shuts off in the middle of my walk?? This is not right and something should be done about it.  I paid for a watch that works, and it doesn't, through no fault of mine.

I am having the exact same issue! My battery would last 2-3 days before the update. Now I charge it to 100%, almost the minute I unplug it goes to 89%. Two hours later I’m at 77%. Then the next time I look at it, it’s dead. I contacted Fitbit and they said it was normal use… I mentioned several times it clearly happened as a direct result of the update and the rep seemed to disregard any possibility of that being the cause. I am past my warranty… they offered me a 35% off discount on a new one. No chance I’m getting a new one with this kind of service. I’m so disappointed. It’s the principle. So many others are having issues after the update and the company doesn’t take responsibility.

It sucks. I was a big fan and advocate.  I bought versa 4 for the whole family a year or so ago.  But that update killed it and they just don't seem to care.

I have up.  I put it in the drawer.

I bought an amazbit band 7 for $40 and it does everything I need.  Plus lol it'll scan your food to log it.  Literally took a picture of my breakfast, and it broke it down by ingredients...

Good luck!

Same issue here. I’ve had my Versa 4 since 11/22 brand new and charged it maybe weekly. I only get notifications for: texts, calls, my one CC and FB Messenger. I don’t use it for music etc, display is normal brightness 6 seconds. Battery on the charger will show 100% and as soon as I take it off, it’s instantly at 98. This morning, I was at 72% and now at the current post time I’m at 56%. It’s been worse since 214.24 update. At this rate, there may be a replacement coming or switch to another watch. Hate to do that; I’ve been a longtime Fitbit supporter since 2018.
