Versa 4 fails during pair with iphone

My Versa 4 stopped syncing with my Iphone about a week or so ago, so  I deleted my app and reinstalled also did reboot of Versa 4.  Now when in the app and trying to pair watch with phone it get the 4 digit passkey enter and starts the pairing process but ends with "something went wrong" and never reconnects with phone.  I have restarted phone, turned bluetooth off and back on, I have tried all the basics.  How do I get my Versa back on my account?

Which iOS version does your iPhone have? 

Please try to remove your Fitbit device from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your phone:

  • On your phone, tap Settings > Bluetooth.
  • Tap the information icon or gear icon next to the name of your Fitbit device.
  • Find the option to forget the device.
