Versa 4 messages wont vibrate

I moved from an iPhone SE to an iPhone 11.  Beforehand everything worked fine. Now messages to the iPhone do not vibrate watch.  Notifications from other apps vibrate watch.  I have compared everything on iPhone SE to iPhone 11 and everything is the same.  I have tried all suggestions I found here. nothing. I shutdown watch and restarted. Nothing Deleted Fitbit app and reinstalled it. Nothing. Turned bluetooth off and on. Nothing. Have forgotten this device in bluetooth and synced again through Fitbit app. Nothing. Only 1 device signed into my Fitbit account.  the main reason I ever got my Fitbit was to have messages vibrate watch so I wouldn't miss any messages. Please help.

I figured it out.  In my messages app on iPhone I have it set so it notifies me that there is a message but it does not show any part of the message until I go into the message .  I had settings, messages, notifications, show previews set to never.  This is what kept the message from vibrating the Versa. I changed it from Never to When Unlocked. All fine now after days losing my mind.
