My versa for is not logging or displaying any sleep information for a couple of months now. Why is this?
All I am seeing is what steps I am doing. I am using a samsung phone.

Is the sleep tab showing but no data or just not showing at all?

The sleep tab is showing but no data
---
Hi,
The sleep tab is showing but just no data. Also The daily readiness tab,
the cardio load tab, and Active zone minutes tab , no data. It’s the same
with the health metrics tab and the heart tab and the stress management
tab. Only the steps are showing. Does this mean we now have to pay a
subscription to see these?
Kind regards
Marie Day

Hi @Marie533 - if you are not seeing information in the App it is likely an app or even phone problem but you should see the information on the watch in some cases.
There have been constant problems of one sort or another since the version 4 app was released in September 2023.
For Sleep though it is a complicated process because the data is calculated on the Fitbit servers and sent back to the app and watch.
If you met the Sleep requirements for recording you may see some basic information on the watch.
No data doesn't always mean exactly that, it often means it hasn't been made available yet.
For reference Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Sounds like it is not picking up your heart rate.

I wear mine in the sauna, shower, swimming etc so it shouldn't be that. My versa 4 has just decided to unlink itself completely and when i turned it back on it was ready as if I'd just bought it, there are clearly issues with this device, I can't even open the help page in the app today!! Sorry I couldn't help but maybe we all need to contact Fitbit as it seems to be causing issues all round.

Hey guys the sleep mode on my Versa 4 to Samsung phone sometimes doesn't read sleep data. I found out that in order to get a good reading you have to go to bed within your set sleep period and to wear the watch on your set dominant wrist at about 2 inches from the wrist. Wear it a bit snug to prevent false wake ups. I read it on one of the community boards.

Also you must get at least 3 hours sleep in order for the app to give a data reading. If you see data on your watch for sleep and not on your phone, restart phone. Check your privacy settings on phone under Fitbit app and allow it to run the processes. Also restart your phone if you see it on your watch but not the phone.

Another factor is Fitbit is now under google so you must update to the google app.
