Versa 4 - not charging

My Versa 4 is staying at 0% while on charge, I’ve done everything customer service has told me to do and nothing. I have had this watch for only 8 months and they say they can’t do anything about it. Anyone else having this issue?

Hi @marlakay81  - it could be watch has a fault or check instructions here How to check charge cable - Sense 2/Versa 4 won't charge, won't start or blank screen 

In any case both watch and cable are under warranty, make sure you get the correct one replaced if necessary.

I chatted with two people today and all I got was an email saying that it’s not under warranty even though I’ve only had it for less than 8 months

@marlakay81 - check your receipt it should be replaceable where you bought it.

You can always chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support and get them to tell you the activation date, as you can't see it on the watch if it is not working.

How are you charging your Versa 4? Over a Pc/Laptop USB port or with a wall charger?
If you are using a wall charger, make sure that it isn't a fast charging one, keep in mind, that Fitbits use a low energy power source.

Hi, I’ve been using the charger that came with it, also bought an extra one and neither work. It won’t even come on now just stays black.

I wasn't referring to the charging cable. I'm glad to read that you are using the one sent with the Versa 4. 
What I meant, was if the "cube"that you are using to plug the charging cable is used for phones with fast charge or is a normal one?
What happens if you plug the charging cable with the Versa 4 to a PC/Laptop?

Oh sorry, I’m just using a normal one. It just stays black no matter where or what I plug it into. I tried cleaning it like customer care told me to and leaving it on charge but nothing happens. I can’t reset it because it went completely dead

@marlakay81 , Thank you for your reply! Try leaving the Versa 4 plugged in for at least 30 minutes, even if you don't see anything on the display.
Remove the Versa 4 from the charging cable. Press and hold the button for 10 seconds. The Versa 4 should restart after releasing the button.

I’ve tried that, I left it on charge overnight last night, I think it’s just a lost cause at this point.
