I go to settings and select high on brightness but it doesn't display brightness

To better assist you, may I know what do you mean by "it doesn't display brightness"? Don't you find the brightness settings? Do you find it but you cannot change it? If this describes your issue, it sounds like you might have your Versa 4 in sleep mode. When the sleep mode setting is on:

I do not have sleep mode on. It is turned off. I just received this brand new versa 4 yesterday. When I'm able to set it to bright it reverts back to normal or dim
