Please check if there's an Auto Pause option in the settings of preferred exercises that is set to On. If so please switch it off and see if that will get things fixed for you.

I've just checked that in Versa 4's user manual, @niba10. This Auto-Stop option only is available for run, walk or bike ride exercises, that's why this came to my mind.
If you haven't already tried, I'd suggest to turn off your device and restart it to hopefully get rid of the issue you have.
Before doing so please sync your Versa 4 to not lose any data it has tracked so far. Then please perform these steps:
Next please start your device by holding it's button until you'll see the Fitbit logo on it's display.
