I had to update my Versa 4 yesterday. It is now stuck in a loop where the fitbit logo flashes (screen inverts) for a while, then a red X appears, then the screen goes dark. After about 15 seconds the cycle repeats. The side buttton does nothing. I can't switch it off or reset to factory. I have removed it from the bluetooth pairing on the phone, forgotten the device in the app upon which the app finds it an says it needs an update. After a while the app say the update has failed and the whole cycle repeats again.
Any help would be appreciated

Could you please try, from the app, to change the clock face of your device ? How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

I don't know why but that appears to have worked.
