After the latest update I am unable to respond via voice to text on my versa 4. I keep getting the message transcribtion error. I have tried all the steps, restarting phone and watch, uninstalling the app, unpairing and factory reset. Any other ideas......

Hi Bobby.

Has anyone figured out the voice to text transcription Error yet? And everything that has been discussed hasn't worked.

I agree honestly I don't understand why they don't care at all

It seems that way unbelievable

I don't want it removed. I used that daily. I just want them to fix it.
Imagine that. It's really frustrating as they are going to be pushing out version 5 all rebranded to Google and I'm wondering if that will even work. What's really funny is they still sell these new and it's not working on the Versa but does work on the Sense. What version did you get updated to today?

STARNGE The Fitbit Versa 4 "Transcription error" when replying to texts is a known software issue, with a fix expected in Fitbit app version 4.68, which is rolling out [April 2026]. Users should ensure their Fitbit app is updated in the Play Store or App Store. It is a widespread issue that developers are actively working to resolve, according to the ]NOPE

Nope! That's the funniest thing ever! I'm hoping for this new Google rebranded app soon but not HOPEFUL that it will correct the issue.
My wifes sense which was working now isn't as well. She told me it hasn't been for about a month but just told me yesterday.
I called again today in utter frustration. The guy I got today told me as soon as I get the new Google Health app that replaces the FitBit app that this would start working again. How confident am I on a scale of 1 to 10? -999999999. Guess we'll wait and see. he said I'd get the app tomorrow, but from things I've read it'll be rolled out over the next couple of weeks.
