Versa 4 won't set up and it's stuck on a red X

Trying to initiate start up but can't get past the big red "X". Issue 1: when I put into charger, it pulses but the screen remains black (no charging indicator). 2. After leaving it on the charger overnight, I push and hold the single button on the left side of the unit. I have to hold it in to get any reaction and eventually the turquoise FitBit log appears against a black background and then blinks, changing color to a black logo on a turquoise background. It flashes back and forth between those two until eventually a red X appears that covers the entire screen. There is no text accompanying the rex X. No other display (clock, app menu, etc.) has ever appeared. I tried a factory reset using instructions posted on a different Versa 4 thread and but obtained no different results. Trying to figure out if I'm missing something. Thanks in advance!

I had the same issue but I think it's bc I dropped mine face 1st one time. Idk it was working after than a few days later. Black screen and red X!

I've got exactly the same problem.  Mine has been absolutely fine since I bought it, and then suddenly at the weekend this happened and I can't get anything other than the logo or the red cross.  Very frustrating, this is the 4th Fitbit I have had and I've had problems with every one of them.

Ook ik heb dit probleem en kan het maar niet oplossen! Pure frustratie!!!  Was voorheen echt wel tevreden over mijn Fitbit maar nu🗯

Yes I have the same issue WTF is Fitbit doing to get the un**ahem**ed?

I mean a hundred and fifty bucks is (to me) a LOT of money to pay some item that only works occasionally?

This happened to me too just a week or so ago when I thought all I was doing was rebooting my Versa. I had to set up the whole thing again.  Lost my watch face too.

I had to start from 0 with setting up my 2 year old versa through the app when I got the red x two weeks ago.

I used my Versa 4 for 5 days and then the problems started with no sicq and after that black screen or red cross. Very disappointing

Omg really I just got a second one. Hopefully it doesn't happen again. If
so I'm not buying another. This is ridiculous 1st I've read of this issue

DLThune when you say you started back from zero, do you mean you uninstalled and reinstalled the app or did you remove your versa from the app and set it up again or both. I'm afraid if I remove my Versa 4 and reset it up again I'll lose my data not synched yet. If you tried a reset up did you lose any data? I reset my Versa 4 so many time that my problem of not being able to synch for over 24 hrs progressed to only being able to get something to show up on the screen is to press the button until you get the logo flashing light show followed by the big red X and the app saying it needs to link and set up Bluetooth to then say sorry it is taking longer than usual then retelling me in my over a dozen time trying to try again. It won't even pair with my GOOGLE PIXEL TABLET (that I purchased exclusively to put the Fitbit app on it) it says pairing in a very light color like it not available just to disappear 10 second later from the list of paired apps. It seems each time a company tries too big of a change at once, like dumping everything to google, glitches like this kills the product. I miss the challenges also and still cannot get why you cannot get the Fitbit app on a pc anymore! My issues this time stated on May twenty four of the year two thousand and twenty four .When I was still having access to the watch function the time was 25 minutes off for some reason. Hopefully FITBIT also sees this post and can help or if you could reply with what worked for you specifically DLThune, please and thank you. Also, sorry for venting so much in this reply.

Ik heb alles al geprobeerd. Niets helpt! Ik krijg nog steeds enkel de rode
X op mijn Fitbit. Kan mijn horloge nog steeds niet gebruiken.
Wacht nog steeds of iemand kan zeggen hoe dit opgelost kan worden.
