my versa 4 stopped communicating with my phone a few days ago. I have done a factory reset on the versa 4 and uninstalled the app and re-installed it. It still won't pair.
I installed the fitbit app on my tablet and it paired with the versa 4, but that is not what I need.
The galaxy A13 will BT pair with other devices other than the fitbit. So the phone is good. I am lost for a thought as to how to correct this issue. Any suggestions (Other than getting an Apple Watch)? I used the versa 4 with the glance watchface to have access to my blood glucose numbers so I didn't have to pull out my phone all the time.
Help please

I'm glad I'm not the only one! My A13 stopped syncing, so I did all of the above too, now it won't reconnect.
I've only had my versa for a month, so I'm gutted it won't now work with my phone. How frustrating.
I'm tempted to just return it. 😕 if as everyone says the issue isn't going to be resolved imminently... as it wasn't cheap for something that isn't going to work.

I'm having the exact same issue. I also have the Samsung a13. Idk what the deal is? It won't connect with the fitbit app but, like you said, pairs fine with other things via BT. I have done everything short of a factory reset. Right now it's completely useless. It doesn't even have the correct time because it won't pair and sync. So frustrating.

This has happened to me too (Samsung A13) It's been driving me crazy for two days, so I'm glad I found this post.
I have tried everything. Currently I am up to the stage where I have done a factory reset on my Versa 4, and I have uninstalled/reinstalled the fitbit app, but now I am unable to add the device back to the app 🤔
How do we get to know when it's fixed? Is there any way of getting a notification I can sign up for?... Cheers x

I submitted an "official" issue ticket via the Help Center. You have to then choose chat which didn't work for me, call them, or get a return call. They are no help. At least it's showing I submitted a ticket. I was told an update will show on the app. It didn't. I happened to see an update yesterday (which didn't fix the problem) when I was in Google Play and saw it said update. Read more users problems in those reviews in Google Play.

Me, too! I'm realizing how much I depend on my Versa now that it's useless!!!

Same problem with Galaxy 9 a couple days ago. I was able to get it synched by reinstalling the app, but despite the information in the watch, the synch did not recognize new data from the previous synch. I thought I had it fixed, but now it fails to sync again - last just two days. Since I have 12K steps on the watch, I hate to lose it.

Me too - can't synch with my Samsung A10 - seems to be a problem only with Samsung phones. Really love my Versa 4 - when it works with the App! Customer support just seems to be diverting to the forums now - they don't even have the decency to release an apology.

No it's not just with Samsung phones. I have a Huaweii P30 and am having the same issue. Did 2 factory resets, managed to get it to do the setup but still no sync after the first one. Uninstaled the app, reinstalled it, re-started phone and watch, Bluetooth off and on etc. all to no avail. I'm going to look for an older app version. I wonder if it will work on an iPad?

Same thing is going on with my A13. Started Thursday evening after a flight to a different time zone and noticed the time would not update and the watch would not sync.

I have had the same problem, got myself a new versa 4 after my charge 4 packed up (3rd one!) after just a year. - I had my versa 4 for 6 days, it was working fine, then my phone had an update and has not worked since. I even sent the versa 4 back to Amazon and got a replacement the next day - will not pair with A13 I have tried everything, resetting, ininstalling you name it, it will not pair with my A13. I have just managed to put the app on my ipad and it seems to be working and connected. The app then updated the actual device, versa 4 which gave me hope it might pair with my phone now....but no. Really poor

I am facing the same issue as well. tried everything you did as well.My Fitbit device(versa 4) has really become a headache since the update that has added youtube music. this is so infuriating that a lifestyle improvement company ruins our lifestyle like this.

It really is frustrating, I spent £160 on my new versa 4, I debated getting a different make because I have probably owned at least 5 fitbit devices, 3 of which were the charge 4, but I didn't want to lose all my data logged over the years. Feels like you are locked to them

I just brought this watch in August and I'm having the same issue. Called Tech support today and last week, they have no idea when this issue with the app will be resolved. Seems to me they don't have people who can analyze and fix the problem. It should take this long to figure things out.

I am not sure if this is relevant, but I have just seen this below....From what I can gather, there is a glitch with an update on my phone. The new versa 4 I purchased needed an update which I managed to do through my ipad, but a13 android 14 will still not link....the versa 4 is being phased out and it doesn't seem they are addressing the issue....
'Google is no longer making new Fitbit Versa or Sense smartwatches, but the Sense 2 and Versa 4 will remain available. Google is instead focusing on its Pixel Watch series, which incorporates some of Fitbit's technology.'
