I have downloaded the Spotify HR app on my Fitbit and have the Spotify app on my phone.
I've followed the login prompts but when I open the app on my Fitbit it comes up with "No active device found. Please open Spotify on your device"
I've tried opening the app on my phone and also within the Fitbit app but still nothing.

I appreciate you have come back and let me know you've already tried the troubleshooting steps I've provided. Please note that Spotify HR is not an app developed by Fitbit so as you have already tried to troubleshoot it my best recommendation is to reach out the developer of the app and let the developer know about these issues. To contact the developer tap on Account > Versa > Apps > Spotify HR and scroll down until you find the link "Contact Developer"

I was having the same issue. Make sure your headphones are plugged into your phone and it works!

@Brighteyedbecki, please note that you will need to start a song or playlist on the Spotify app for Spotify HR to work. Remember that both apps, Spotify and Fitbit should be running on the background for Spotify HR to work.

Mine also gave the "No Device" message til I paired my phone for general audio controls as well. It's working (somewhat) for now, but lags a lot between selections.

Hi...When I downloaded the Spotify HR app and I go into Settings it says Spotify and Login, but doesn't allow me to log in or anything. I have tried to have the spotify app music running in the background, but that didn't seem to do anything. Am I missing something on here?

@Srburnett, thanks for sharing your experience with us and for letting us know about this situation. At this moment, I would like to suggest you to tap on "Login", you will be redirected to a website with a pop up that says "Open this page in Fitbit?", tap Open and your Spotify account will be automatically linked to Fitbit. If the account don't link at first, tap on Login again.

hello,
i have a similar problem.
i can run app and login to spotify on my phone.
the app shows the current song info playing.
it will not pause or change track.
it does show my heart rate.
i have connected app and have also paired my fitbit to my phone.
i am listening with bluetooth headphones while trying to control with fitbit.
so can anyone suggest solution to no spotify app control from hr app?

At this moment, as Spotify HR is not an app developed by Fitbit, I would like to suggest you to contact the developer by going to the Fitbit app and tapping on Account > Versa > Apps > Spotify HR. In here you will be able to contact the developer and provide your feedback and your report.

Just recieved the versa as a Christmas gift. So disappointed that Spotify is not supported.

the app just allows you to play, stop or skip track, choose playlist, control volume.
but it is so laggy you are better off just controlling spotify from the phone.
