Configuring the device for my WiFi connection results in "Not Available", even though it does connect with my router for 10-12 second intervals a couple of times before displaying the dialog in the application claiming the connection failed.
When configuring, I am less than 2ft from my router with clear line of sight. There are 3 other devices connected including my iPhone, Laptop, and a Security Camera.
The router it is connecting to is a Linksys EA2700 running DD-WRT v3.0-r29607 giga (05/09/16).
FitBit App - WiFi Setup
Router while App is showing "Connecting"
* Note that the FitBit device did connect and kept an established connection, but it drops the connection after around 12 seconds after authenticating.
FitBit App - Connection attempt failed (in spite of actually being able to connect)
Please fix this !!!

Managed to get WiFi to work. After 92 attempts, it finally stuck the settings.
Now, when using the app to transfer music, it is choking and disconnecting frequently. So far, it has been about 4 hours to transfer 9 songs ( 30 minutes of music ).
Please release some firmware to stabilize connectivity. This is my first FitBit, and the WiFi experience is leaving a rather sour taste in my mouth. I chose this FitBit Versa as I wanted something reliable so I spent the extra bucks instead of going with a knock-off model for $20-$50.
The NFC in the special edition is super awesome, but might as well put **ahem** on a bull as thats about how useless that is in Canada (we are super low tech up here so takes a couple decades typically before our dem dere marts serv'n up'm dat newfangled tech der boy).
So far, I see VERY little moderator feedback, and the most popular thread in here seems to be "Have anyone got a replacement band for your versa" ??? There are dozens of threads related to sync / wifi issues and very little feedback if anything at all. One person posting about how they connected their Versa with their Mobile hotspot -- yay for you. Unfortunately this requires a connection to WiFi in order to transfer music. Not sure about "Deezer" or whatever, but certain functionality is just blatently broken.
When I pulled this out of the box and found I couldn't just turn it on, I was immediately frusterated, but figured - meh - it's FitBit, how long can this take ?
Popped the thing in, and after windows detected it, the FitBit app kept failing to detect it off and on, which scared the crap outta me as the first thing it started doing automatically is trying to update it with new firmware (good - but intermittent connectivity during data transfer of firmware = russian roulette for brick mode ). By some miracle, it made it through, but still wouldn't let me configure the device as it was still having detection issues.
So I said screw it -- tried to configure using the app on my iPhone -- wow... it actually worked, mostly. Was glitchy through the process, especially forcing me to add a pin, and such as it wouldn't display on the watch the first 14 times (i am not kidding here - no exaggeration). Several reboots of the watch and my iPhone .. later, i finally got a **ahem** pin, i entered it into the app, and --- failed due to lost connection with the watch again.... which it let me enter again, and this time, it FINALLY let me on to the final page. I had to completely skip WiFi as it's broken AF on any device (iPhone and Windows 10).
Syncing the data for sleep/running/etc seems to be no problem although it does feel a bit slow.
Why use Bluetooth if you have WiFi ? If your WiFi is slower, then that says something about why all this crap is so **ahem** broken. With BT 4.0 rocking a whole 25MBps max and Bluetooth 3 screaming in at 3MBps, in order for WiFi to be trash, it would have to be throttled back to 1MBps speeds which is complete trash, and usually shows the intermittent signaling that we are seeing.
Now that I finally have some music on it, hopefully the BT connection for music isn't as garbage as my iPhone's were prior to the 6 Plus.

I have had similar problems, I had the wifi connect. I deleted deezer but use the philips hue app - unfortunately it never works because the wifi is never connected!

Same and can't set it up again. I fear a factory reset is on the horizon thereby wasting many hours of my time 😞
