Question about intra-day data

Dear Sir or Madam

This is Mr.Murakami of Neos Corp.

Our “Renobdy” application which linked with your system and retrieve your
date in every 15 minutes.
We find that there are difference between daily summary data and summary of
every 15 minutes data.
So we would like to know that is there any reason to have this situation or
any problem for it?

Fitbit ID is 2ZKRYT

Sample of data
Oct/18 activities-steps is 9,180 VS total of 24 hours of intra-day data is
9,180    This is OK
But
Oct/19 activities-steps is 16,231 VS total of 24 hours of intra-day data is
11,437  This is a problem

We already retry to get same data, but still number of value is different
between activities-steps and
total of 24 hours of intra-day data, so we expect that your data might be
has some problem.

This situation was happen for all users and approximately occurred once in a
week.

Please check this situation and response us how can we or how can you fix
this situation.

@renobody I looked at the user's activity, their tracker was in a low-battery state for most of the morning and during a run. Because of that, 'activities-steps' (daily total) will be represented more accurately than 'activities-steps-intraday'.

The battery lasts approximately a week, so that's probably why you see it happen once a week (when their battery is low).
