I've received a few friend requests, but I'd like to learn a little more about them before I add. I THINK they're people I know, but when they don't use a headshot and use a nickname it's really hard to tell. Is there a way you can see if they have a public e-mail address or profile? Can you reply to a friend request and ask who the person is? It seems to be either "ACCEPT" or "DECLINE" which doesn't lend itself to building much community.

Hi @Tyson_M
If you want to programmatically find out information on these users, you may use the Get Friends Invitation endpoint, https://dev.fitbit.com/build/reference/web-api/friends/#get-friend-invitations, to see the email address IF the requestor invited you by email.
Otherwise, you would click on the link of the user's profile to learn more information about them based on the requestor's privacy settings.
