how do I find out the email address to the client ID

Hello,

I connected the Fitbit API to my own web app a few years ago. So far it worked very well, but recently there is a problem and the activities from Fitbit are no longer passed to my app. Now I wanted to log in to dev.fitbit.com to check the problem:

But obviously I used a different email address at that time. Now my question is: How do I find the correct email address to the existing client ID?

I appreciate any tips and hints.

Hi @Alex2023 

We are not allowed to give you the email address.   However, you have 2 options. 

  1. If you think you know the email address, then you can reset the password to gain access to the Fitbit account again.   
  2. If you do not know the email address, then we can transfer the application to another Fitbit Developer account.   

Let me know if you need help transferring the client ID to another account.

I actually don't know the email address. I have already tried to reset the addresses in question - unfortunately without success.

If you can transfer our old account, that would be great. How can I send you the email address of the new dev account?

I will send you an email with some instructions to transfer the application to the new developer account.
