Dark area on display

I have had my Fitbit Zip a few months, and now the display looks as if it has been damaged. It is still working, but there is a large dark area in the center of the screen, so the only way I can check steps is on my phone, or online. Is this damage? Manufacturing defect?

Can it be reset to restore the screen?

Welcome to the Forums @GMGC! Thanks for sharing your experience with your Zip tracker. This sounds odd.

Regarding your questions, I can't assure the cause of it because it may be damaged inflicted to the tracker or a manufacturing issue.

However, you can restart your Zip to make sure is working correctly. To restart your Zip, follow this helpful post

I hope this helps, keep me posted! 🙂
