Is Zip being eliminated?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The only Zip available online is the black one, as in "the last ones left".

Is this the end of Zip???

I hate wearing things on my wrist!!!

Can someone in Fitbit please inform?

Thank you

Welcome to the Forums @Walker111! Thanks for sharing your feedback about Fitbit Zip. I really appreciate all your interest and love for our little Zip. Heart

At the moment, there are no plans to stop selling Zip. Usually when a tracker is discontinued, it's because an upgrade of this product is released.

Regarding your question about the available colors,  in the Fitbit Store the only color available (if you are located in the USA) is Charcoal. However, in some other locations or retailers you may find other options as well.

I hope to see you around more often! Smiley Wink

Hi!

I don't buy it is not being discontinued. It is sold out everywhere, all the retail stores. I have checked. The zip has been downgraded in the help forums to where all the discontinued projects are listed. It is on backorder in only one color on the fitbit site. It has been this way for a month at least so if you are not getting rid of it, why is it not being restocked? I want one for when I cannot wear my Alta but I am not buying one, waiting weeks for it to ship, and when (IF!) it finally does, to find out they are releasing a new clip on tracker and I am stuck with outdated technology.

I love fitbit. I want a clip on tracker, but this situation has been bothering me for several weeks now.

Thanks!

Yes, and it is so important to be able to trust a company...

Every time I call about the icon disappearing from the bar I am told it is a glitch they are working on (since 2016).

Will the Zip be discontinued while we are being told otherwise?

Honesty makes good relationships, folks!

Welcome @WalkDontRun85! Thanks for the update @Walker111! I appreciate your input and all your support for our Zip tracker. I wanted to assure you that we take into consideration all the comments provided by our users to continue improving your experience.

As I mentioned above, there are not plans to discontinue it. If you are having a difficulty finding a new Zip with our retailers, please visit the Fitbit Store.

@Walker111 Regarding the issue you are experiencing with the missing tracker icon, can you please let me know the following:

  • What Internet browser are you using (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc.)?
  • Are you using a home or your office computer to sync?
  • Is the icon missing on your Fitbit App too?

I look forward for your reply! 🙂

I, too, have been looking to obtain a Fitbit Zip.  I tried purchasing one through the Fitbit Store (run by Ingram Micro), which claimed to have stock available (here in Australia).  My credit card was charged, but after no shipping notification coming through to my email for 2 weeks, I emailed Customer Service with my order number.

I was then told that they did not in fact have any stock, and no idea on when new stock would be arriving.  Currently, I can find Zip's on the Australian Amazon site at hugely inflated prices.  The US Amazon site is no better - after currency conversion is factored in, one would cost $170.00+ to ship here?!?!

If Fitbit is not discontinuing this product, is there at least some ETA on when the Fitbit store will have more stock available?  I'm not paying $170.00+ for one of these.

Welcome to the Forums @JustDuckyish! Thanks for sharing your experience with the Fitbit Store and Support. I wanted to assure you that we take into consideration all the comments provided by our users to continue improving your experience.

Upon checking in the Fitbit Store, I was able to see that the Fitbit Zip on the Australian cart is currently back order for 6-8 weeks at a price of AU$79.95. Please let me know, if you need help creating your order or if you have more questions.

Keep me posted! 🙂

I just bought a Zip for my husband (who does not wear watches) and it came yesterday, no problem. Only available in charcoal, but that's a small issue.
