Low battery message with new battery

I changed my battery last week and its already saying that its low. Its a brand new battery and it has been inserted correctly. Any reason why it would be at a low status so quickly?

Welcome to the Forums @NickieMG! Thanks for sharing your experience with your Zip tracker. In this case, I would recommend checking the metal spring inside the Zip's battery compartment. Sometimes your tracker will have battery issues when this is bent. Here is a picture of how it should look like:
