It's frustrating it can't be as accurate as we would like it to be! Clearly you have different level of activities and for a given activity it *should* be able to take it into account. The only way to do this would be to manually enter your own calories. For a lot of activities, there are calculators on the web where you can enter your vital statistics, and the duration and distance of your exercise and it will calculate your energy burn. Maybe this would work if you could find one for rowing. Best of luck!

Hi, @Steve330! When you use a manual activity, it can't take into account how you altered the intensity over time. The only way for it to figure that out would be for you to break the activity into blocks based on intensity and estimate the calorie burn yourself. Otherwise, it will make an assumption on your calorie burn level and distribute it evenly across the time period.
