The cover to the battery compartment is so tight I can't get it off. Any suggestions? Am missing a step before taking the cover off?

@randigbis it a new Zip? If it's one you bought locally, you might be able to take it to the retailer and have them help you.

Sometimes when a flashlight is giving me difficulties and needs fresh batteries, I take it to a battery store and have them open it for me.

Hi @randigb

There is no special step to take before removing it. You using the provided tool or a dime to open it? Sometimes it does take a bit more to get it open.

I've tried the tool, a dime, a screwdriver, a knife. None have worked. Guess I'll just keep trying.
